FAQ

The quick answers to “what’s an EPK?”, “what should I include?”, and “how does PunkAddicts work?”.

What is an EPK (electronic press kit)?

An EPK is a single link you can send to bookers, blogs, playlist curators, venues, and promoters. It packages the basics (bio, music links, photos, press quotes, tour dates, and contact info) in a clean, scannable format.

If you want the longer explanation and a checklist, read what an EPK is.

Do I get a public page I can share?

Yes. You publish to a fast public URL at punkaddicts.com/<your-band>.

We also support slug normalization + redirects so your old links can keep working when you update your kit.

What should a band press kit include?

The “must-haves” are: a short bio, 2–3 best songs (or embeds), 3–10 press photos, a clear location/genre, and one obvious contact CTA.

We break this down with examples on the band press kit guide.

Do you have EPK templates?

We keep templates intentionally constrained: three presets that change typography/color and overall feel, without letting the kit get “designed to death” or hard to read.

See the approach on EPK templates.

Can I download a PDF of my EPK?

PDF export is a Pro feature. It’s useful when someone needs an attachment for internal review or you’re doing formal submissions.

More context: band press kit PDF.

How much does it cost?

Free gets you a great-looking public EPK page. Pro (planned at $19/month) adds ZIP/PDF exports and analytics.

Can I use my own domain?

Not yet. For MVP, your kit lives at punkaddicts.com/<slug>. Custom domains are a likely Pro feature after launch.
